Glossary
Every term the product uses, with what it means, how to read the number on screen, and when that number lies to you.
The full glossary lives in the app
Fifty-seven entries, each with a definition, how to read it in practice, and its genuine limitations. It is available in English, Hindi and Gujarati, and is free to read without an account.
The caveat field is the one worth reading. It is where each entry says when the figure above it should not be trusted — small samples, chosen anchors, traditional attributions that have not been measured.
About these timings
The figures on this page are astronomical calculations: positions of the Sun and Moon worked out for your city and date. Those are measurements, and they are as exact as the ephemeris behind them.
What the traditions take each one to MEAN — auspicious, inauspicious, favourable for a particular act — is tradition, recorded here as tradition. Nothing on this page is a prediction, and nothing on it is financial advice.
